Ms. Ermeena Asad Malik joined the Board of PTPL in 2019 and is Chairperson of Human Resource Committee. She holds MPhil (Technology Policy) from University of Cambridge, MBA from George Washington University and B.E. Civil from UET, NWFP. She has over 18 years of local and international experience in energy sector as a project developer, consultant and researcher. Her expertise spans development and implementation of conventional and renewable energy projects, project finance, analysis of energy technologies, evaluation of policies and formulation of regulatory frameworks.

She also led development of 160 MW, USD 200 million power project in Pakistan, from inception to feasibility and financing. In UK, she conducted research on issues surrounding renewable energy generation in economic and social context of developing countries and options available for integrating renewable energy in current energy mix. Her cross-functional expertise in project development, energy technology and energy markets give her deep understanding of the sector and unique insight into power industry dynamics.
