Mr. Salman Zakaria joined PTPL as its Chief Executive Officer in November 2021. He is a result oriented and forward-thinking senior professional with more than 35 years of practical experience in Energy Sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore and a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. He has attended Management Development Program at INSEAD, France. He has rich multi sectoral experience of working at leading executive positions in power and energy sectors of Pakistan and abroad.

He has been involved in P&L roles, EPC Project Execution & Controls, Business Development and Plant Maintenance & Operations. He has a strong track record of profitable business growth and skilled in developing and implementing strategies for successfully penetrating new markets. Previously, he served as CEO Descon Engineering Limited and Vice President AYTB in Saudi Arabia.
